Digging out and digging deep
It’s only the end of January, but as I drove around yesterday with staff writer Bill Kirk to see how area residents faired following yesterday’s snow it looked like months of snow piled high along city streets. It kind of makes you wonder exactly how much snow we can handle before you simply cannot move it. And February is usually a very busy month when it comes to snowfall.
Snow is predicted for Saturday night and next Wednesday. So far, Saturday looks light, but when you’re dealing with snow depths like we already have, “light” is relative. As several folks pointed out yesterday, it IS New England afterall. Although speaking for myself, I think I’ve gotten a little soft given the last few winters of relatively light snowfall.
